Humanitarian Coordinator: UN Day is a time to reflect on the contribution of the United Nations

As the United Nations family in South Sudan prepares to commemorate UN Day tomorrow (Thursday), the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General says the day should be a time to recognize and reflect on the contribution of the United Nations.
On 24 October, the world celebrates UN Day - a day on which the United Nations was created in 1945.
In South Sudan - the 193rd member of the UN, the celebration in Juba is themed "South Sudan: Unity in Diversity"
Speaking exclusively to Radio Miraya, Allain Noudehou also UN Humanitarian coordinator says member states and staff of the UN should keep the wellbeing and welfare of the people they serve at the center of their work.
