The South Sudan Opposition Movement Alliance (SSOMA) factions led by General Paul Malong and Pa’gan Amum have submitted their agenda for the next round of talks with the government to the mediators of the Sant ‘Egidio community.

The agenda includes issues of governance and transitional security arrangements.

Speaking to Radio Miraya this afternoon online from Rome, Italy, the Secretary-General of the community of the Sant ‘Egidio, Paolo Impagliazzo said the proposed agenda has been shared with the government for review, ahead of the next round of discussions expected to start next month.

The last round of discussions in Naivasha, Kenya were adjourned last week, with the hold-out groups recommitting to the ceasefire declaration and signing the "Declaration of Principles" containing 15 points that will form the basis for subsequent dialogue, on the root causes of the conflict.
