Trial Of Caleb Flynn Day 3: Caleb's Prints Couldn't Answer WHAT?

The Caleb Flynn trial turned to fingerprints and neighborhood surveillance as jurors heard from BCI latent print expert Vicki Bartholomew and next-door neighbor Kimberly Bingaman. 

Bartholomew testified that palm prints recovered at the scene belonged to Caleb Flynn. She also said latent prints from the Ford truck door and a palm print from the minivan matched Caleb. During cross-examination, however, she said there was no way to determine when those prints had been deposited. 

Bingaman testified that her three dogs tend to be very vocal when something unusual happens nearby. She also described multiple cameras around her property and said they captured nothing outdoors or around the neighboring residences. 

She told jurors she had noticed a new camera near the Flynn home as well. Under cross-examination, Bingaman said she could not determine whether the Flynn camera was operational. 

Caleb Flynn is charged with aggravated murder and other offenses in the death of Ashley Flynn and has pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors allege he staged the scene to look like a home invasion; the defense says investigators focused on the wrong person and that an intruder killed Ashley.
